and a screenshot of the issue if you can — it speeds things up a lot.
Common questions
A check failed or takes too long
Verdicts normally take a few seconds; screenshots can take a little longer. If a check fails, verify your internet connection and try again. The free tier also limits how many checks can run in a short burst — wait a minute if you see a "too many checks" notice.
I disagree with a verdict
No detector is perfect. Verdicts are informational and "safe" only means no scam signals were found. If you believe a verdict is wrong, forward the content and the verdict to support@scamhunter.app — real examples make the analysis better for everyone.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by your app store, not by us:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ScamHunter.
- Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their policies.
Restoring a purchase
Open the app → Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases, while signed in to the same store account you purchased with.
Deleting my data
Your check history lives on your device: Settings → Delete history, or uninstall the app. For anything beyond that, see Delete account & data.
